Quick-built concrete block with aluminum window wall characterize Anchorage commercial growth in the fifties and early sixties. Southcentral Alaska’s solar dynamic, breathtaking angularity, abundant natural textures and visual warmth had little influence on shaping a look and feel for the built-environment. These dominant attributes influenced my residential projects and extended into commercial efforts.
